MISSION STATEMENT:

C & D Buffalo is the heart of "Frosty's Good View Farm", located in rural, Elk Horn, Iowa.  The Farm stretches over beautiful, rolling hills, far away from the stop lights and bumper-to-bumper traffic of the city. From this place, which has been a working farm for over 100 years, we are very proud to bring you the absolute finest quality meat, only available from C & D Buffalo.

Bison meat is one of the fastest growing fractions of American Agriculture. The bison is very low maintenance and a very efficient grazing animal. Bison meat is much lower in fat and cholesterol than other meats but it maintains a very high protein level. Bison meat has a clear-cut advantage in our 'heart healthy' society.         

Our animals are not forced to forage over available grass. Instead, they are offered plentiful arrangements of only the best feeds available, grown directly from neighboring farms. Their quality of life makes them much healthier and ensures the meat has a better flavor.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our animals and products. All of our meat is 100 percent natural, USDA inspected. That means no beef, pork or fat is added. We don't use any chemicals, growth hormones, antibiotics or steroids. 

We strive to bring you the best quality product available, while preserving the land, practices and heritage on which the farm was built.
